Honolulu may be a smaller city, but its culinary scene rivals the likes of global cities like New York City and Los Angeles. During Restaurant Week, eateries across Oahu, from fast food to fine dining, feature special menus for foodies to try.
The goal of this annual event is to raise funds to support the Kapiolani Community College’s Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head. The Mana’ai Garden at the campus was made possible by Restaurant Week Hawaii and all participating restaurants and sponsors, and Azure Ala Moana is proud to support such a worthy cause as well as some of our favorite neighborhood hot spots below.

Eventually, YogurStory got rid of the yogurt but kept its name and is now one of the most Instagram-able full service restaurants in town. You’ve probably seen your friends and family diving into a stack of their famous ube pancakes on social media or boomeranged it yourself. But if you haven’t, now’s your chance to try them! During Restaurant Week, YogurStory is offering a stack of their phenomenal pancakes and a fountain drink for $14.95. Pancakes aren’t your thing? Stop by for dinner and let them wow you with their set couple menu featuring scallop linguini and a ribeye steak. This must-visit Asian fusion joint is open daily from 7:30 am – 10:30 pm and they even serve breakfast all day. We guess that means pancakes for dinner is in order next week!
Kickin’ Kajun is Hawaii’s first Cajun seafood restaurant. Kickin’ Kajun first opened its doors in 2012 by husband and wife duo Jason and Yani Higuchi. Since then, they’ve made a name for themselves by specializing in New Orleans style seafood boils with an island flair. The already fun and casual atmosphere is only enhanced when they provide you with bibs and encourage you to get your hands dirty. They take their commitment to sourcing the freshest seafood possible seriously by having live lobster tanks at their restaurants. If seafood boils aren’t for you, they also have delicious Po’ Boy sandwiches and fried baskets, too. During Restaurant Week they’re offering an amazing deal! A three course meal consisting of an appetizer, seafood boil with your choice of snow crab or a whole live lobster, and dessert. They’re open daily from 11 am – 10 pm so you have tons of time to take advantage of this yummy opportunity.
